This kit is designed to prevent axle issues, but It depends on the total amount of lift and the type of axles you have in your vehicle. Rebuilt axles are more prone to having issues. In general, lifting higher than 2" will require a subframe drop kit to maintain proper axle angle.Q: "Do I need to replace my suspension bushings when installing a lift kit?"A: It depends on the condition of your existing bushings. We always recommend inspecting your factory bushings and replacing them with urethane bushings such as Energy Suspension if needed. The added benefit of installing urethane bushings is that it allows the suspension to move more freely without binding up.Q: "Will lifting my car negatively affect the handling?"A: In most cases, yes. By lifting the suspension you are effectively raising the roll center of the car, which can cause additional body roll.
