Description: An evocative time travel back to an American college campus in what looks to be the 1930s...it's the 16mm color double perf silent approx. 10 minute film LIFE IN A SMALL COLLEGE. The college is Hamilton College in Clinton, NY. The film appears to be a student project and intertitles tell us the script is by David H. Beetle '30, Photography by Richard Carver Wood '24, Professor G. Harvey Cameron, and Raymond L. Smith '36. It's a silent reel with LOTS of intertitles identifying various campus buildings and activities. It is a fast paced blizzard of images--I snapped over 50 photos watching the film (fun to cut that down to 24 that eBay allows.) Lots of vistas of the campus, the architecture, classes, library study, recreation, winter sleigh ride, sports, the "Ice Queen" and the "Ice Statue". Even an aerial view (you can see the shadow of the plane floating across campus. The color is beautiful--did not see edge marking, but it looks like Kodachrome. According to the label on the can, this was processed by a lab in NYC. Actual images are MUCH better than my digital snaps. This is on a 400' reel. Buyer pays EXACT postage—to the penny. I NEVER inflate postage or add rip-off “handling” fees. I ALWAYS combine postage on multiple purchases. Your item carefully packaged and promptly mailed. Movies are packaged either in a taped can OR in a box—no can. Film ends ALWAYS taped. Now in my 26th year on eBay—thanks!
