Undated letters circa mid 1800's. Each letter has a later pencil inscription at the top providing the name, occupation, and birth and death of Wyld. A total of 4 signatures by Wyld. The letter in English reads, "Sir Allow me to thank you for your kindness in recommending my works to the attention of the Societe des Ami's des Arts: - I am only sorry that none of those "alliedes"sp.? to in you note are at my disposal. - The only picture I have unsold at the Salon is No 1821 "Terrapee du Convent des Capuains a Sorrento" exhibited in the Salon Carre."
