A very handsome illustrated edition of Lord Byron's poetical works. Bound in green full morocco with elaborate gilt borders and gilt centre-piece to both boards. Spine with five raised bands, gilt lettering and elaborate tooling. All edges gilt. Binding remains sound and firm with a little rubbing to extremities. Further elaborate gilt tooling to turn-ins. Plain endpapers with gift inscription in pencil to ffep. Text block also remains sound and firm. Light foxing to frontis and vignette title. Pages and plates lightly age-toned with occasional light/minor blemishes, else very clean and tidy throughout. Please view images carefully to confirm condition.
