1880s BLUE SEMI OPAQUE CUT GLASS 12 SIDED MINIATURE OIL LAMP WHITE PONTILED BASE

Description: Here's a rare 1880s hand blown miniature kerosene lamp with 12 cut panels around the blue semi opaque glass font.....white opaque glass base is hollow blown with rough pontil scar in sunken bottom that has a tiny opening in middle of pontil scar.....5 1/4"tall to brass collar....9" to top of white shade...Brass threaded collar and brass burner....opaque white glass shade just sits on top of a ground brass gallery ring....Lamp is perfect with no chips or damage. Shiny clean with no stain. The white glass shade is buffed smooth on the bottom and has no ledge, so it doesnt nest snug into the brass ring...it only sits down on top of the ring. However, it displays just fine. It is missing the clear glass chimney that would run up through the middle of shade...This hard to find antique mini lamp was formerly in the famous Hulsebus Collection (2013 auction sticker on bottom)....also the Larry Spradley Collection (sticker on bottom)...and also the Digger Dave Collection...haha....
