Description: A Charming Litte Antique Table Arts & Crafts Circa 1900-1925 Gorgeous Tiger Oak Grain Patterns Solid Oak & Tiger Oak Veneers Fully Restored Dovetail joinery on all 4 corners of the drawer Restoration details: When I first saw this table it was love at first sight, I knew it would be beautiful when restored, the years took its toll on the piece, it was as wobbly as a new born giraffe when I acquired it! I love the tapered leg design! Fully carefully taken apart & reglued & clamped entire table, restored some missing & loose veneer, doweled the lower shelf/cross member support to reinforce it. Restored broken drawer runner supports! I hand restored the finish using a rich walnut stain & hand buffed oil based varnish. This finish gives outstanding protection & yet showcases the gorgeous grains & imparts a depth to the finish. You can still feel the lovely textures to the oak as you rub your hand over the table! Notice the detail how the drawer front grain was cut from the same grain & matches the surrounding front piece! I installed new screws in the corner leg braces which are longer for more strength than the original screws The legs have metal protective glides …Of course I left some scars & character marks this piece acquired from 120 plus years on the planet! Table is now solid as a rock.
