DANIEL SERVICE STATION, TIRE DEALER)", which was located in historic old town of BAYFIELD, COLORADORECENTLY SOLD THE 25c VARIETY....OFFERED HERE IS THE LARGE $1 VARIETY...ONLY ONE I HAVE TO OFFERThis token comes out of a lifetime collection of antique Colorado tokens....beautiful old token from "BAYFIELD"....watch for future listings When you see these tokens with initials like "JAD" it tends to just be a mystery to us today...but I guarantee that everyone living in Bayfield knew that "JAD" stood for Jewel A. Daniel...who ran a service station / gas station / tire dealer in town of Bayfield......(fortunately this is documented on the token website) The historic town of BAYFIELD is located in La Plata County Colorado...not far from Cortez, Durango, Hermosa and Pagoda Springs ColoradoTrade token is aluminum metal, round, about 31mm in diameter ,and it displays very nicely. (please see pictures in gallery) a great looking specimen. Has not been cleaned, natural patina.
