Description: This is a 1938 Jefferson nickel coin made of 75% copper and 25% nickel. It is the first year this nickel was minted. There is no mint mark and It is neither graded nor certified, but it is also uncirculated. Its finish on both sides is unblemished. My eyes sees the separate steps to Monticello but I haven't the skill to count them or capture them on a photograph.
