Description: Description: Up for auction is a 1948-49 Sports Champions Exhibits card of hockey player Roy Conacher as a member of the Chicago Black Hawks. Conacher is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame. The 1948-49 Sports Champion Exhibit set is comprised of 46 cards, 3 of which are hockey players. This cards issued in 1948 had either a black/white or green tint and those issued in 1949 had a blue tint. The card shown is the card for sale which has a blue tint and was issued in 1949 only. The cards issued in 1949 only are extremely rare and are very difficult to find in gradable condition. Condition: This vintage card has been graded by the tough graders at SGC as an SGC60, EX. Referring to the scans, the card has some minor corner wear but it does not have any creases, wrinkles, paper tears, pin holes, print marks, staining or writing on the front or back. It nominally measures 3-3/8 x 5-3/8 and is nicely centered. Note: PSA does not grade the exhibit cards from this set for some unknown reason so graded cards are only available with SGC grading.
