The 2-color box lid has nice Halloween graphics. Box lid side is stamped "H-2204 WOODY WOODPECKER Size MEDUIM (8-10)" and "WALTER LANTZ CARTOON CHARACTER COSTUME" (with Walter Lantz logo). This elaborate costume includes original face mask (yellow molded mesh canvas with bright hand-painted accents), red fabric hood "crest", and a blue & white fabric jumpsuit (with great "Woody" chest graphic, metallic gold accents and black felt "tail"). Overall, this vintage character costume is one of the best we've seen. An outstanding and highly visual Woody Woodpecker item. Condition of MASK is considered GOOD with moderate surface/crease/edge wear. Colors are extremely bold & bright. No tears or separations. Original elastic cord is still intact. Condition of HOOD/CREST is considered GOOD with mild surface/edge wear. Fabric is supple & solid with no tears or separations. Condition of JUMPSUIT is considered GOOD to FAIR with mild surface/edge wear. Mild to moderate staining/discoloration. Fabric is supple & solid with no tears or separations apparent. Condition of BOX is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Moderate surface/corner crease wear with no tears, chips or separations apparent. Original cellophane is included but loosened from inner box lid. No box edge separations. Overall, we feel this is a very displayable example by most standards (see photos).
