Copyright Pan American World Airways, Inc., the Clipper Trade-Mark & ‘Printed in the U.S.A.’, these posters have a rare horizonal orientation measuring approximately 16 x 19¼ each. These TWO posters feature FLORIDA as detailed: Series 11 – 1959 – Copyright 1958 – PAN AMERICAN AIRLINES – WORLD’S MOST EXPERIENCED AIRLINE – Captioned ‘UNITED STATES OF AMERICA – The famous resort, Miami Beach, Florida. Miami is a Pan American gateway linking the United States with Europe and all Latin America.’ Photo by Chester ‘Blackie’ Kronfeld who was Pan Am's staff photographer from 1950 through his tragic death in an American Airlines plane crash on March 1, 1962 while on assignment. Photo features the iconic 1955 MCM Seville Hotel (formerly the Pancoast Hotel, now Ian Schrader's Edition. CONDITION: Good overall condition with four sharp corners & some relatively minor edge wear which would frame out nicely. Series 21 – 1969 – Copyright 1968 – PAN AMERICAN AIRLINES – WORLD’S MOST EXPERIENCED AIRLINE – Captioned ‘UNITED STATES OF AMERICA – Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The U.S. gateway cities of Miami and Tampa, Florida are two of the 17 served by Pan Am Jet Clippers.’ CONDITION: Good overall condition with four sharp corners & some relatively minor edge wear which would frame out nicely. There's a couple of minor vertical bends (not quite creases) to the right side, but very light & almost imperceptible.
