From 1957 to 1965, Jay Publishing offered team sets for every major league team, of 12 different 5x7 black and white photos printed on slick paper. These posed photos make a great time capsule for that era and include all the greatest players of that day. These team picture packs were priced at twenty five cents for twelve photos, and were available by mail, in retail stores and at the ballpark. These photos remain highly collectible and are a great favorite of fans of the Fifties and Sixties..Here I have a very nice unopened retail package of 12 photos featuring the 1961 Chicago White Sox, including Hall of Famers Al Lopez, Nellie Fox, Luis Aparicio, Early Wynn, and Minnie Minoso. The photos inside are in perfect condition, as this poly bag has remained unopened for over sixty years. See scan for condition. Not bad for a piece that's sixty plus years old!
