For sale is one of the most important soccer cards of the late 20th century. 1970 marked the first year that Panini produced their now ubiquitous World Cup sticker set. 50 years later, the Panini World Cup Sticker set is a world wide phenomenon with collectors across the globe seeking to complete albums. The 1970 World Cup was also significant because it saw the 20th century's greatest soccer player capture his record breaking 3rd World Cup title cementing his place in history. This card is the encapsulation of all of that history. The 1970 Panini WC sticker set was released in four back variations: Green, Multi-Language, Bisvalida and Red & Blue backs. The Red & Blue backs are the hardest to find having come in four card strips inside of albums. The strips had to be removed and the cards hand cut individually to separate the cards. The Multi-Language backs were found in packs distributed across the world outside of Italy. The Green back and Bisvalida back cards were found in packs distributed in Italy. Bisvalida backs were inserted randomly into Italian packs and are thus short printed in comparison to both the Green and Multi-Language back cards from the set. Thanks for looking!
