Description: 1976 Schwinn Superior bike, 10 speed, 56 cm, 22" frame The Superior has a unique hand-brazed frame, which is very strong, and yet light in weight. It is a Schwinn-built chrome molybdenum alloy frame with a tubular fork. The bike is original, except: seat, pedals, bar tape, hoods. I am not sure about the wheels, as they are made in France and the hubs are Maillard. Good condition, the bike was tune-up and is working fine. It has new shifting and braking cables, new bar tape, new hoods and inner tubes. 56 cm (22") frame, from center of crank to top of seat tube. 56 cm top tube C-C. 10 speed with Schwinn aproved GT-260 front derailleur and GT-300 LeTour rear. Huret ratchet control shifters. Nervar double crank set 54/40 teeth. Aluminum alloy center pull brakes. 27" Alesa alloy wheels with Sachs-Maillard hubs and good tires. Vetta Gel saddle. The paint is good, there are some scratches, but no bents, dents or other damages. Shipping through Bikeflights with insurance. The bike will be partially deasamble for shipping. Shipping in the continental states only. For: Alaska, Hawai and Puerto Rico ask for a shipping quote. Thank you for looking.
