Description: Edward Gorey Classic Surrealistic, Macabre, Gothic, Edwardian 16" x 11" Print This is not a re-print or a copy....this is an original offset lithograph printing from a licensed Gorey PublicationThis came from oversized softcover book (16" x 11") filled with Edward Gorey Posters entitled....GOREY POSTERSPrinted in 1979 by Harry N. Abrams, Inc. Publishers, New YorkThe print measures 16" x 11" and is in what I would consider to be NEAR MINT conditionThe reason for the NEAR MINT rating....there is a super tiny tear along the left side of the print (to left of the "bat wing" along edge (see pic),There is a slight "wrinkle" along bottom edge towards the left corner.....(this appears to have been caused by a stain of some sort at one time that can be seen on the backside)The "wrinkle" is not really noticeable but I try to be as descriptive as possible when it comes to conditionand there may be one or more very slight small creases along the outer edge/corner of the printDepending on how this is going to be displayed or framed....any imperfection(s) would not be noticeablePrinted on a medium white cardstock....Print is clean and clear.....classic Edward Gorey printSince this originally was in the GOREY POSTERS book.....it does have a small illustration and/or printing on the backI took pictures of the PRINT, a few CLOSE UPS, and the BACKSIDE This will be shipped rolled in a poster tube for protectionThese are becoming harder and harder to findThis would make a wonderful framed display piece in any home or officeI have listed ALL 28 Prints from the book up for sale (check out my other auctions) I WILL combine shipping The pictures do a much better job of describing this item than I ever could, please check them out!If you have any questions or need any additional information regarding this item, please contact me PRIOR to bidding Pictures are of the ACTUAL ITEM that you are bidding onI took several pictures to give you a good ideaof just how COOL and how COLLECTIBLE this item is!
