Its missing the crank handle; but you probably can make up something to turn the paddles. You can turn it with your fingers--real easy. 2.) The decal is missing; don't know if it just fell off or what . You can see where it was located. The lid is very clear and the paddles show no wear or use. I can't tell if this was used; could just have been sitting around someplace. But to be safe I'm calling it used or preowned. Made in Japan--made well. This weighs an odd weight of 15.8 oz by itself; so with packing and box should go at 2 to 3 lbs.
