Description: A POSTER FOR A 1990 EXHIBITION ON THE SUBJECT OF MASTER DRAWINGS FROM THE WOODNER COLLECTION. POSTER MEASURES 19.5" X 26" AND WAS PRINTED FOR THE EXHIBITION. CONDITION IS VERY GOOD WITH LIGHT AGE RELATED PAPER TONING AND VISIBLE HANDLING/ROLLING CREASES. EVEN FOR THIS EXHIBITION, THIS WAS A RARE POSTER IMAGE. - See photos for visible handling creases in the margins, likely caused by rolling. The last three photos reflect handling creases. The prior owner owned a printing company that printed posters for museums in North America and in Europe. He was always sent an example of the work. Please use zoom function on all photos as I photographed each section individually to allow for close inspection. IMAGE: Page from Vasari's Libro De' Designi. Giorgio Vasari, Italian (1511- 1574). Five drawings attributed to Filippino Lippi (Italian, 1457- 1504), and one to Sandro Botticelli (Italian, 1445-1510), mounted on paper by Giorgio Vasari, who embellished them with an architectural framework in pen and brown ink, brown and gray wash. Exhibition held at THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART MARCH 1-, - MAY 13, 1990
