Description: 1999 P Statehood Quarter Series Connecticut strikethrough Grease error For sale is a 1999 P Connecticut quarter from the statehood quarter series that has been struck through grease on both sides. I have areas circled off on some of the photos that shows the areas that the Grease has been struck through it has almost obliterated some of the letters in the motto and the I in the word LIBERTY on the obverse. On the reverse the outer outline of the tree branches is struck very faint and some of the tips on the tree limbs are missing. I pulled this coin out of circulation in 1999 I don't believe it has seen very much circulation at all. The coin is a nice, circulated example that is problem free. I have added several photos that have been taken under different light and also with the microscope so you can get a better idea of what this coin looks like This would make a fine addition to any statehood quarter mint error collection.
