Description: 2 Brown Authentic Glass Fishing Floats Alaska Group of Two Brown or Brown olive Authentic Glass Fishing Floats Alaska Beach Combed I put a group of floats in the picture to show the different textures that may be available. These floats are approximately 3.25 inches in diameter. These are authentic working beach combed floats that were used off the coast of Alaska by Asian fisherman in the old high seas drift net fishery that's been closed for over Fifty years, not the thin imitation reproductions you see all over eBay. Originally used as working floats that had nets around them and were abraded by sand from high winds and surf while they were still encapsulated by their nets. The nets disintegrated from exposure to the sea, sun, wind and sand over time. Some floats are frosted, or textured with the original net pattern or still fairly bright. Let me know what your choice of texture and marks would be and I'll see if I have them. The nets around the floats are how they were actually attached to the fishing nets for flotation.
