Description: Rare 2007-2009 Manchester United Home Soccer Jersey with club legend, Cristiano Ronaldo (Number 7), on the back. The shirt is one of Manchester United’s and Ronaldo’s most iconic - it was worn as United won the 2008 Champions League. This beautiful red United kit is the special Champions League Final edition - it features “Final Moscow 2008 21st May Luzhniki Stadium” in gold embroidered on the front. This shirt represents the club when it was at its most dominant. In 2007-2008 Manchester United dominated the Premier League with an unstoppable attacking trio of Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Carlos Tevez. That same season, the Red Devils won the Champions League Final in a tantalizing penalty shoot-out against Chelsea. In the 08/09 campaign, United were equally dominant as they came out on top in a thrilling Premier League title race against Liverpool. They also won the League Cup and made the final of the Champions League again (before ultimately losing to Barcelona). Cristiano Ronaldo was at the center of this success. The 2007-2008 season was arguably the best of his career- he scored 42 goals in all competitions and 31 Premier League goals. He won the Premier League Golden Boot, the European Golden Shoe, the PFA Players' Player of the Year Ward, and the FWA Footballer of the Year Award. The name and number are official player size Champions League print. There is a felt Champions League starball on the right sleeve. It is a size XXL. It measures 24.6 inches pit-to-pit and 30.4 inches in total length. The shirt is in OK condition. There is a small hole next to the AIG sponsor. The decals on the back of the shirt have also peeled off - a common problem with these kits. There are also some fabric pulls on the front of the shirt and some fading of the sizing information.
