Description: This Edison Blue Amberol cylinder of the #2131 When I Lost You (Irving Berlin) comes with an intact box sleeve and MATCHING lid. The cylinder has damage to the bottom - small cracks & breaks, one rim split extending about 1/2" into play area (see photos). Performed by Charles D'Almaine, this cylinder was released in 1914. This instrumental version of Irving Berlin's When I Lost You features violin and harp instrumentals. Berlin wrote this moving song & music after his new bride of 5 months died from typhoid fever in 1912.
