This was the sixth consecutive year that cartoonist Eldon Dedini, of Esquire, New Yorker, and Playboy note, created the artwork for the Concours poster. This image was inspired by an 1982 photograph of carmaker Ren Panhard out for a drive with his family. Dedini's signature is printed to the right of the main image. Printed using high-quality reproduction techniques for the Robert Devlin book, Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance: The Art of the Poster, in 2003.
