It was issued "by subscription only" with 71 illustrations including a frontispiece portrait of Mrs. Logan, 63 full-page black and white photogravures, including portraits of Mrs. Theodore Roosevelt and Alice Roosevelt, along with views of the White House, the Capitol, Library of Congress, Mount Vernon and much more. Also featuring full-page plans of the Capitol and the White House, in-text plans of the House of Representatives, Senate and Library of Congress and a double page facsimile of the Declaration of Independence. Fascinating book on our Capital's history loaded with pictures. The book includes 752 pages and measures approximately 9" x 5.75" x 2".
