Light pencil notations on pages 11 and 16, which can easily be erased. Corner is clipped from inside front flap of dust jacket. #28, Gustave Flaubert, Madame Bovary. Two stains on fore edge as shown in photo. #46, George Gissing, The Private Papers of Henry Ryecroft. Dust jacket is taped neatly at top of front as shown in photo. #53, Theophile Gautier, Mademoiselle de Maupin and One of Cleopatra's Nights. Front of dust jacket is smudged as shown in photos. Dust jacket is repaired with scotch tape from the inside.
