These postcards are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s. The postcards show FLOWERS, BIRD, WHEEL BARREL, BIRTHDAY MESSAGES, etc. One postcard shows the birth stone for the month of AUGUST. The postcards are nicely designed and have a colorful and attractive look to them. They are Flat Printed. They have good detail, and they are a pleasure to look at. They come from different publishers. Postcards were used when people wanted to send Greetings to one another. Hallmark Cards started in 1910 with their cards that opened, and their first Christmas Cards were sold in 1915. People during the early part of the 1900's only had postcards to use to send their messages. These postcards have become collector items. This is a nice selection of antique Birthday Greetings postcards. These are collector items because of their age, and how they capture a glimpse of life back in that era. These will appeal to Birthday Postcard collectors. The postcards are UNPOSTED (4) and POSTED (2) with cancel dates of 1915, 1920. Some of these were "Printed in Germany" during the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915 era). The postcards have DIVIDED backs. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. Regarding condition, please note that we try to remove damaged postcards from our lots, and only sell those postcards that are worth having in a collection. However, because of their age (over 100 years old!), please expect some creases, cuts, stains, paper toning and edge wear on the postcards. We do not want you to be disappointed, so look closely at the photos we provide to see the postcards and the backs. The postcards are shipped in a sturdy envelope. We only ship within the USA; we do not sell or ship internationally. USA shipping is with tracking, and we use eBay Standard Envelope mail when the value is under $20 and the weight is under 3 oz; and, we use USPS Ground Advantage when the value is over $20 or the weight is over 3 oz. We combine shipping whenever possible. If you purchase multiple lots, you can wait and we will send you an invoice for the combined shipping before you pay.
