Description: 6’6” 2/2 WGT Bamboo Fly Fishing Rod Made by Mr. Zhus in China A new - 6’6” 2/2 wgt bamboo rod made by Mr. Zhus in China several years ago. The burgandy colored wraps look great against the natural cane color. When the rod was purchased, instead of the “standard” threaded reel seat, a walnut colored reel seat with a nickel silver slide band / cap was installed making it different from some other Zhus rods made at that time. Being stored for quite awhile, it’s suggested that the ferrules and reel seat hardware be lightly polished for a better appearance. The rod comes with a very high quality aluminum rod tube and brass caps (purchased / made in the USA), and the original 2/2 rod sack. The action can probably be best described as somewhat of mid to full flex action depending on what weight (DT or WF) synthetic or silk fly line is cast. Rod will shipped in the steel tube shown in the pictures. Perfect, pretty little bamboo fly rod for small trout waters.
