At the lanyard bushing is a fine crack on both sides of the handle material, that probably happened when knife was made . The marked initials JKL supposedly the former owner/maker ! The knife is in overall excellent condition and sheath is typical heavy duty AK type riveted out of a single piece 5/32" thick leather . This sheath is cleaned and treated no foul smell !
