80s Kramer Voyager Guitar EVH stripes And D-tuna Floyd Brass Block

Description: You’re looking at a 80s Kramer Voyager guitar with EVH stripes, D-tuna, Floyd and Brass Block Bought this with the intention of refinishing and adding a new fatter neck but a luthier offered to make me a neck thru voyager. The body is an 80s voyager body and looks like it was originally Hum x hum and the middle pu was added before the evh stripe job. May have had a rockinger on there? Neck is aftermarket (not sure who made it)- needs to have the frets dressed and a set up. Plays ok but frets are a little sharp. Chrome Floyd Special with an evh d-tuna and brass block. Was going to transplant a German Original on there but I’m saving that for the custom build. I’d suggest the Floyd posts be doweled and redrilled. Not a pro job and the posts are leaning a bit. Trem claw screws were replaced with neck bolt screws for more solid hold and longer range to loosen the springs. The old screws were tightened all the way and didn’t dive bomb easily. Paint has imperfections bumps nicks divots scratches you’d expect from a guitar from the 80s but body has no structural damage. I believe the original color was black and it may still be under the evh stripes. The neck plate- I have no idea where this thing came from… kinda looks like a japanese bolt on hollow body. Not original at all. The pickups are some off brand. The guy who had it before me said the bridge pickup is a Syn humbucker. Don’t love it. Sounds like an a2 mag which I’m not a fan of but you might like it. Only the bridge hum is wired and there is a kill switch. It works ok. Was planning on yanking that out but I’ll leave that up to you. This will be a fun project for someone. Ask any and all questions before purchase. Sold as is, so- please read everything.
