Description: A Concise History of Painting from Giotto to Cezanne by M Levey - 1962 1st Ed PB Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Funky Christmas / Everyday Funky These books etc. come from my father-in-law's estate. We have an entire weaving and yarn shop inventory to sell that was filled to the brim. This book was found in a locked glass bookcase in my father-in-law's yarn shop. This book is in VERY GOOD condition. There is no dust jacket. Actual front and back boards have minimal damage; mostly scuffing. No marks or highlighting in text. Pages are bright white, crisp, clean and unmarked. Cover lies flat. 549 color plates. Illustrated, collectible, 1st edition. This book is in VERY GOOD condition. The only thing we notice is the first title page was glued oddly, looks like the publisher, and it cracked open. It is NOT away from the spine. It's like the had too much glue and to open the book for the first time would crack the cover away from the spine. It is not like that on the back cover. The outer spine has creases, but, again, the spine is tight and in good condition. Finally, there are minor nicks and scuffs. Also, while these many color prints are small, they could be easily used in reclamation art! PLEASE NOTE: For absolutely no reason, eBay keeps making multiple listings change the formatting which makes pictures un-viewable. We are asking, please, if you see that, shoot us a note that tells us, so we can 1) send pictures to you via message and 2) go back into the listing and fix it AGAIN. There are many complaints about this from sellers. Apparently, eBay does not care to fix the problem. Please, be kind, and let us know if there is a problem. Please NOTE: Old books are heavy books. Safe shipping may move them into the next postal category. Sorry! Please NOTE: We live in Michigan and it is winter. We have the Lake Effect almost every day – massive cloud cover. We are doing the best we can with interior lighting for the pictures. Also, please NOTE: Almost every book has a smudge somewhere. We mention it if we see it, but please assume we missed something. PLEASE NOTE: Because eBay is composed of soulless, bloodsucking monsters, and because it is forcing us to use an ISBN number for a book that DOES NOT have an ISBN number, and even when it DOES have an ISBN, still won’t let us use it, so we use one of a random book. Our book is pre-ISBN numbers. The Library of Congress number is 6213754. The LOC does not hyphenate when you put the number in to verify. Fake ISBN number is 9781014236289. Correct ISBN number is non-existent. We put in whichever one the system will take. Sorry! Please consider searching golem451, in the upper right corner of this page, to see what other items we have that are priced to move, and to see if you might want to buy something to add to your collection while saving $$$ on shipping. Many vintage children's books or coloring books already listed and many, many more coming soon! Thank you for your consideration. Note: We are running out of estate books and will be slowly changing over to their other possessions – some serious, some MCM, some just funky, or kitschy. Others are Depression era. Some will be brand new items, still in their packaging, and others will be more mainstream books (from one of the Grandma’s) or some of our personal books or collectables, as we are not leaving this mess to our kids. We hope you will have fun and stay with us. Shipping – All books are shipped on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday on the first day possible after payment is received around 8 to 9 AM. They are shipped by Media Mail in heavy brown paper, similar to a grocery paper bag. All wrapping and shipping materials are recycled from the cardboard to bubble wrap to 50 year old envelopes. Our packages are ugly, but are very carefully wrapped to arrive safely. We always refund shipping credit if you buy multiple items. Free local pick up. We refund your shipping charges! Please help us recycle these lovingly cared for curios in an environmentally friendly manner.
