Description: Adams Potteries Old English Staffordshire Ware Indiana University Collector Plate. This plate is in very nice vintage condition. No chips, cracks or breaks and I don't see any scratches. This is a polychrome transferware plate of Biddle Continuation Center, Indiana Memorial Union, Indiana University, Bloomington Indiana. There are a lot of marks on the back of the plate. It was imported by Jonroth for the Indiana University Bookstore from Adam's Potteries in Staffordshire England. I had a hard time dating the plate but know that it was made sometime after 1910 when Jonroth starting importing to the USA from Adam's Potteries. I believe it is ironstone and the diameter is about 9.75 inches. All of my items are carefully packed for shipping, no matter their value - $5 items are wrapped with the same care as a $200 item. My goal is to have your purchase arrive safely. I use recycled packaging when possible but mostly use new, high quality products so your item will arrive intact without damage.
