Sold by the pair. 1" OD, 11/16" ID, almost 5/8" long. Tight fit when new to keep the oil in! This is the original earlier style. The singles with steel push rod tubes at first used a constant diameter rubber seal with a metal washer on each side, the bottom one of which was conical. The top one varied in thickness if a compression plate was used to lower the engine compression, which raised the height of the cylinder. The later design of the rubber seal included better sealing on top and bottom, and no metal washers were required. Your head may only accept one type or the other, so have a look at what is installed now. Made in Italy by Ariete using top quality rubber exactly matched to the technical requirements of the application. These parts are really expensive, but consider the peace of mind knowing that you have done everything possible to seal those oil leaks on the first try.
