Replace any parts that may be needed. 4. Clean and lube tuners if needed 5. Perform the D’Addario 3-Step clean and polish process. Good stuff! 5. Polish the metal frets. Clean the fretboard and apply lemon oil to the rosewood or other fretboard wood used. 6. Adjust string height if action is too high or low. 7. Put on new strings, Ernie Ball or D’Addario. 8.
