Antique 1800s Purple Oyster Plate Numbered 02045 Vintage, Marx & Gutherz?

Description: This listing is for an antique oyster plate, featuring five outer wells and a center well for sauce. The outer rim of the plate is scalloped/ribbed and is painted a lovely gold, with a light purple painted bordering each of the wells. The plate is unbranded, however the number “02045” is written on the bottom. A quick search based on this number and a similar plate indicates this plate is likely by the company Marx & Gutherz Carlsbad, and from the mid 1800s! The plate is in very condition for its age. No signs of cracks, chips, crazing, or repairs. Some of the gold along the center well and the edge of the plate has worn off (visible in the photos). The plate also has some areas along the backside that weren’t properly glazed (see the last photo), none visible when the plate is on display. There are some very minor imperfections to the porcelain, as is common in antique oyster plates. Please view all photos and ask all questions prior to purchase.
