Description: Antique 1800s Unique Ornate Solid Brass Footed Teapot SS&Co. S Sternau Handle Beautiful ornate brass teapot with a ribbed black top handle that moves down and back up. Original patina is gorgeous with spots of orange and a few specks of verdigris. Trademark for this appears to be 1892. Company mark on bottom reads “S S & C” for S. Sternau & Co from New York. CONDITION No lid or burner included. Spout shows small crack at the opening. The inside bottom shows some corroding of the rim. Surface scratching. Otherwise in good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Feel free to use the zoom option as pictures are considered part of the description. Please see pictures for measurements.
