Description: ANTIQUE 1870's-1890s OLD WEST STAGECOACH DRIVER or "RIDING SHOTGUN" GUARDS BUFFALO & HORSE HIDE FUR COAT. This is a large size insulated coat but is unmarked as to size. I wear a large plus, and it fits me. It came from a Montana Western collection and is pretty good fur on the outside but has torn inside linings and overall is very impressive to see on a person or mannequin. Has a slight musty smell from being in storage and could use an airing out. It is very heavy and is a big full-length coat with a large buffalo fur collar on a horse's furry winter coat hide as I was told. This bit of Western history offered as is for display or to restore. The label inside is from the ROBE TANNING CO. of Sioux City, Iowa. Use your own knowledge of these type coats as to the exact furs it is made with. See pictures for details. Ask questions. See other Western items in my listings. Paypal payment is due within 3 days of purchase. Shipping is based on 18 lbs. USPS Ground Advantage from 21057. Positive feedback will be left. Please do the same for me. If a problem exists, contact me ASAP so we can resolve the issue. Thank You.
