Description: NOTE- 2 lights available, price is for one chandelier only. This stunning antique chandelier is a true masterpiece of design and craftsmanship. With its elegant Art Deco detailing, it is sure to be the centerpiece of any room. The light have an EXTREMELY RATE lavender/purple tinted bottom prism glass shade. The chandelier features a beautiful large white milk glass Art Deco shade that has the accented lavender bottom prism glass shade that attaches with the metal connecting ring. The light measures 44" in total height from ceiling to bottom of the light x 9" in diameter at the globe. The chain measure 14” and can be shortened if needed. The current size is great for foyers and larger sized rooms with high ceilings. The light will be an excellent addition to any home or building restoration where nothing but an original is acceptable. The light has had newer era correct cloth covered wiring installed and the sockets are the originals, there is some superficial age checking/cracking in the porcelain portion of the bulb sockets but very functional and are the originals to the light. The bottom lavender prism shades each have a tiny spec that looks to be a small natural imperfection from when the glass was moulded and part of the making process, the specs are minuscule so it’s hard to say for sure but mentioning for listing accuracy. NOTE- The shade mount cap simply rests on the center column portion and is free moving. CONDITION- The condition is gorgeous considering the lights are approximately 115 years old! All the glass shades are in beautiful condition considering the age, no cracks or major chips/repairs. There is natural aging patina on all the metal components throughout and the original finish is still on metal Steel caps which is a dark antique bronze color. Some of the enter column metal components are made of cast bronze/brass but the caps themselves are believed to be made of steel. The light works great! Any restorations, color refinishing, or electrical needs/upgrades will be to the new owners and/or their contractors discretion.
