Description: Antique 1917 Ephemera Kibbe Brothers Co. Confectionery Invoice- Great Graphics! Here is a Kibbe Brothers Confectionery invoice dated November 14, 1917. It lists 16 items including 25 lbs of peanut butter for $5.00 Kibbe Brothers was located at 33-51 Harrison Ave. Springfield, Massachusetts, USA. The business was started in 1843. By 1905 they employed about 350 people and produced 12 tons of candy each day and was shipped as far as California. The company was out of business by the 1930s probably a victim of the great depression. The graphics on this item are wonderful showing stylized lettering and a delivery wagon pulled by 4 horses. Another illustration shows the factory buildings from the 1800s. Measures 8-1/2" x 7-1/4" . Included is the cardboard piece shown to keep it flat and will be wrapped in cellophane to preserve it. There is slight edge wear as can be seen n the photos.
