Description: An extremely hard to find Ansonia daily mantle clock in a SAGE GREEN bisque porcelain. This piece has been brought back to life inside and out. The clock has been fully serviced, and keeps time perfectly for 24 hrs. Plus it was not easy cleaning years of dust out of matte carved ceramic. The clock has a carved white edging scroll detail that leads to two goddesses. One holding the sword, I believe is Justice but not sure. Anyways, everything is all original. The other goddess is holding a mirror. The clock face has a beveled glass front that is surrounded by an alternating fleur de lis pattern in brass. This clock is very striking! Pun intended. The rose swags drip down from both sides of the clock just adds to its gilded age opulence. There is a single chip near the base. Pretty unscathed for a 120 plus year old piece. Manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Co New York United States of America. Registered Ansonia Trademark is located in the paper clock face, which has aged. To operate: Wind clock daily by turning the key counterclockwise till snug. To adjust the hands simply move the center back knob. **Do not overwind, if you feel resistance stop winding** Please refer to all pictures for sizing and condition. Feel free to message me with any inquiries. All items are pre-owned and sold as in condition. Thanks for stopping by! FUNKY VINGETIQUES
