Description: Antique circa 1915-30 Arts & Crafts handicraft guild school metalwork society brass vase, finely hand hammered in a conical form with cast or turned brass reeded shoulder, concave curved neck and reeded matching rim. This beautiful quality little vase is apparently unmarked. There is an eye like mark to the base, but this is scratched out, which suggests it was just a random mark from the making process. We believe it is by Edward Spencer's Artificer's Guild, although unmarked the style of production is typical of the British Arts & Crafts Guilds like the Guild of Handicrafts, Birmingham Guild, Artificers Guild and schools of handicrafts such as the Newlyn School, Borrowdale and Keswick Schools, Cotswold and Glasgow Schools and Fivemiletown in Ireland. It is in good condition with just a few dinks and marks conducive with its age and use (please see photos). Height 16.3 cm, 6½" inches. Please message us should you have any questions. We aim to ship within 2 working days of receipt of payment and the piece will be shipped via a Royal Mail tracked postal service.
