Description: Fantastic antique watercolor of the historical British naval ship the HMS Endymion. The ship sailed during the French Revolutionary Wars, the Napoleanic wars and the first opium war. It an incredibly skilled painting within a beautiful professional frame. The overall presentation is very handsome. The painting is signed but I cannot make out the signature. The piece was in the collection of the Lannan Gallery south of Boston. It has one of the largest collections of nautical antiques anywhere in the world. It was given an auction estimate of $600-$1200 when I bought it. Condition is basically perfect. The frame is approximately 13”x16”. Ships ASAP!
