Description: This wristwatch does work. I wound it and it ran for three days plus, and kept reasonably good time. It ran a little fast. The watch winds up fine. However, I could not pull out the stem to set the hands, and I did not want to force the stem. Perhaps it is an easy fix with a knowledgeable watch enthusiast. The stem does have a blue or black onyx tip. The glass crystal has a chip near the bottom, but not cracked. It is hard to see even in the photos. The clock face is pretty clean. It has a hinged back opening. Patent date 1924. The wrist band is for a very petite wrist. The watch is art deco with matching art deco band. The band is by Peerless stainless steel with a slip latch closer. The band can also be adjusted prior to closing the snap. Overall a good clean antique time piece.
