Description: This is a fantastic early all original antique blue calico primitive prairie bonnet. It’s much better in person than the pics show too. It’s a larger one. Measures about 15 inches long. From front to back when laying flat it measures about 13 inches with a very wide brim. It ties in back and under chin too. It is both hand and treadle sewn. It has been worn but has aged quite well overall over the years with some expected fading and it’s heavily starched with the goode olde stuff you don’t find much of these days. It’s originally from Tennessee. If you love olde blue calico this one is sure to put a smile on your face as you enjoy it hanging on your early peg rack or it’s still totally wearable for your living history events or museums. 🙂 ———————————————————— Please study all pics and read entire listing for more info.
