Description: Most beautiful old French cottage floral cotton in a lovely bouquet of roses type pattern. Gorgeous somewhat mid scale cottage type floral that is unused and as fresh as the day it was made. A cotton with linen. Still crisp. Lovely hues, of a deep pink, muted old red & deep green on a soft green ground. Sort of minty or a pale jadite type green. There are no markings of a maker on the remaining selvage but it very much reminds me of the old Paul Dumas type prints from the 1930's. Excellent quality. So much lovelier in person than my camera captured. I imagine intended primarily for furnishings but could be used in many ways. Appears in lovely condition. Unused. One selvage remains so possibly left from a project. Excellent for pillows, windows, lamps and an abundance of period projects; bags, hat boxes, aprons, bodices, doll dressing larger scale dolls etc.. Also on a period stool/bench or chair back ~ decorative upholstery. Patchwork is also a wonderful option. Again this has never been used or washed, so still crisp~ washing may soften it a bit for finer quilting. *Wonderful a condition, again unused. I noted just a tiny bit of softening at the very outer edge which does not effect the dimensions listed in the least. *I am selling this textile by the~ full yard by 25" wide ~ I can keep your length uncut.
