Description: Maria Niforos—Antique Lace & Textiles Description: Circa 1880-1900, A rare round linen tablecloth with assorted images of Royalty. There are four vignettes measuring almost 6” that contain a Henry IV and French Kings. There are other shaped oval vignettes containg cherubs.There is very fine Reticella work throughout the tablecloth and very fine raised whitework embroidery throughout the cloth. The needlelace on the images of Kings is very good.The image of Henry has a three dimensional beard.Measuring approx. 46-47”.In good strong condition,acouple of tiny openings.The cloth seems unused or rarely used.Linen seems to have been laundered .
