Description: Stamped on the side of this 6 long Wooden Propeller is Sensenich trademark. After some research, it was found that this is a Model 86R61, Ser. 61470 HP 200 Max RPM 2450 Max. It was also learned this propeller was made by Fairchild and is from the 1940s. It was used on a few different airplanes but most likely from a WWII Trainer, PT-19. The Fairchild PT-19 (company designation Fairchild M62) is an American monoplane primary trainer aircraft that served with the United States Army Air Forces, RAF and RCAF during World War II. This prop was likely made in 1941, just as the war was beginning for the United States! This 86R-61 propeller was also used on a PT-26 and a M62A. measuring 72in long there is a 3 center hole. The Sensenich Decals are worn but this propeller is still in very good condition retaining its original brass enforced tips. There are a few nicks and dings to the original finish and one of the brass tips is slightly bent, but should be easily reshapen. After all, this propeller is not a reproduction, but was actually used, flown with, and has been around for almost 90 years! Truly amazing to have such a gorgeous piece of history such as this. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or interest, satisfaction is absolutely guaranteed!
