MERRICK COUNTY - TOWNSHIP 14, 15 and 16 NORTH, RANGE 4WEST OF THE 6TH P.M. This map measures approximately 12 x 15 1/2 inches, including the border area. Property specific details . Shows townships and sections, landowners, railroads, schools, churches, cemeteries, lakes, rivers, etc. The civil townships are shown in colors. On the reverse side are advertisements. This map is from the "ATLAS AND PLAT BOOK OF MERRICK COUNTY - NEBRASKA". Containing Outline Map of the County; Plats of all the townships with Owner's Names; Nebraska State Map and Map of the United States. Published by Nonpareil Publishing Company, Central City, Nebraska. Compiled from Latest Data on Record - Copyright 1921 - The Kenyon Company, Inc., Map Makers, Des Moines, Iowa. Maps this early and showing this much detail are a great piece of history! The map has fantastic coloring to it. There are tears along the left edge from where it was separated from the binding of the Atlas. Map is generally in Good condition (not perfect but pretty nice). Some age related browning and toning and some spotting and stains. The map has some small tears and chips around the edges, but they do not affect the map, as well as some other stains here and there. Some other dings here and there, as well. Creases in the corners. This map would be a great addition to any collection and will look very nice when framed! Please note that while I have included a picture of the Title Page of the Atlas that this map was taken from, it is NOT included in the sale, as it is a reference piece to determine authenticity for the other maps.
