Created in Japan between 1868 & 1912, this Kutani bowl is hand painted with a depiction of “The Scholar “ with golden scrolls and embellishments of the time. Measuring: 1-1/8” tall, 5-1/8” diameter, .75” deep, and weighing 4.7 ounces. Please see all images before purchasing. All questions are welcome and will be answered. There is a manufacturing flaw on the edge where the red glaze has a smudge. This imperfection is shown and circled in the images.
