The candlesticks made of cast white metal Spelter with a worn gold gilded finish (see photos). The candlesticks are marked by the maker with a small sailing ship mark with a V and an S with the ship between the letters (see photos). I am not familiar with the maker's mark, so I do not know the maker or the origin of the candlesticks. The item have a French rococo style and an ornate design (see photos). Each candlestick measures about 5 inches high, and each is about 3.5 inches wide from side to side at the widest point of the base. The items are old. These items are from an estate liquidation. The candlesticks have some obvious wear and losses to the gold-plated or toned finish, and they have some wax on them from use (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). This is a nice set of old cast metal French Rococo style set of candlesticks to add to your collection.
