Description: Antique Ridgway Urn Porcelain Cobalt Gold 7 Inch Footed Rice Bowl 1840s Fine antique early Victorian Ridgway hand painted porcelain china footed bowl in a Ridgway urn border pattern of the 1840s. This trio is pattern number is 2/8796, which is marked on the base; it dates to the 1840s. The flamboyant peach colored urn border pattern is very much of the early Victorian period, which was ornate to the max. The rice bowl is 6 7/8 inches wide by 3 3/4 inches tall. It weighs 1 lb (shipping weight 2 lbs). Condition: The bowl is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs, no wear save a small amount of gold wear on the rim. The hand painted floral centers differ from piece to piece, and you might not get exactly the same center as pictured; but all are equally ornate and beautiful.
