Description: Pairpoint Manufacturing was founded in Bedford, MA, in 1882, and they merged with Mount Washington Glass in 1894!! After 1900, they changed the name to Pairpoint Corporation!! These silver-plated coasters are marked "Pairpoint Mfg. Co. 7305 3" on the bottom edge (see photos 9 & 10!!), so they pre-date the 1900 name change, I believe!! The coasters feature a cut glass bottom with a classic star pattern and three of them are in EXCELLENT condition!! Two are slightly out of kilter on the top edge (see photo 3!!) and can easily be reshaped by a good tinker!! They come in a box from the venerable Miller & Rhoads stores of Richmond, Virginia, and included is a tiny gift card to the recipient from the Stonewall Jackson PTA!! The box is solid with some corner baldness and the coasters are approx. 3" in diameter!! Please see my many other antique and kitchen listings and email me with any questions!!
